Stan writes to his older brother "Bud." Bud is seriously dating Martha Wolff. Stan is communicating with a girl, Ruthie, back home in New York.
This letter explains his daily lifestyle for the past three weeks while in Newport Training Station in Newport, Rhode Island. Be sure to read the previous letters Stan wrote to his father and mother I have posted here on my blog. Very informative. I so appreciate my father's detailed writing of his new life in the U. S. Navy in the early 1940s.
